Since 2025, the Government and Higherin have teamed up to co-deliver the Top Apprenticeship Employers.
The aim of this collaboration is to celebrate the very best employers of apprentices in England. The ranking criteria ensures that employers are recognised by measuring their commitment to quality apprenticeship programmes alongside diversity and learner feedback. We can’t wait to see the incredible nominations in 2026 and beyond.
The Government and Higherin have also collaborated on a brand-new ranking criteria that ensures that every employer will be recognised for the quality of their approach to employing apprentices.
Genuine peer-to-peer reviews left by apprentices on Higherin.com is one of the core criteria for this year’s rankings.
Other factors include the number of apprentices, the quality of your reviews, and the diversity of your apprenticeship cohort.
